Data
The survey instrument was modified from the Quick-turnaround list assessment for individuals. The instrument collected data about:
- Educational background
- Current employment status and job characteristics
- Professional affiliations
- Connections with other postdocs
- Demographic information
A section was added to capture work and research experiences in 2006.
Fielding the Funding Agency Study
The survey was administered between July and August, 2008 (a 6-week data-collection period).
Response rate
The response rate was 63% (AAPOR 2 response rate).
